- Navigate to “Patients” > “Add Patient +”

2. If the patient already exists in Nomadic Care (i.e. they are a patient at another practice registered with Nomadic Care), then you can quickly add them to your practice by entering their surname and care plan code in the right-side pane: “Add via Care plan code”.

3. If the patient is new to Nomdic Care, then simply click the “Manual Entry” button. The “New Patient” screen will then be displayed, which must be filled out correctly. Please make special care to enter email address and phone number correctly – this will be used by Nomadic Care to engage with the patient.
Click “Create New Account”, and Nomadic Care will send a welcome email to the patient / client.

4. The patient / client then checks their email address (as entered in “Email Address” field in step 3). This welcome email will guide the patient on how to verify their account, and login to the Nomadic Care patient app for the first time.
The “Verify My Email Address” button must first be clicked before the patient can attempt to login.
After that, the patient must download the Android or iPhone/iPad app from the relevant store, as per links below. Once they do that, they enter the Care Plan code provided in the Welcome email, and their Surname.

5. After the previous login step, the Nomadic Care patient app will then complete the registration process for the patient, including entering their address, identification numbers, etc. Refer to the Patient registration FAQ page for details.
