Nomadic Care does not need to connect separately to every smartwatch brand. Instead, it can use the health data platform on the patient’s phone.

On iPhone, this is usually Apple Health.
On Android, this is usually Google Health Connect.

These platforms may receive data from supported phones, smartwatches and fitness apps.

How wearable data collection usually works #

1. The patient wears a supported device or uses a supported health app.
